Jeffery Stegenga
Mr. Stegenga specializes in Chapter 11 restructurings (pre-packaged/pre-arranged/traditional) and distressed financial consulting.
Over the last two decades, Mr. Stegenga has worked almost exclusively on large, complex engagements across a variety of industries. His notable client assignments include FTX, Silicon Valley Bank Financial Group, Washington Prime Group, Valaris, Seadrill, iHeart Media, Dean Foods, Windstream, Sanchez Energy, Imerys (Tort), Energy Future Holdings, Magnum Hunter, Hawker Beechcraft, Blockbuster, Kodak (UCC), McDermott/Babcock & Wilcox (Tort), Visteon, Lear Automotive, Tower Automotive, Meridian Automotive, Masonite and SIRVA Relocation.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Stegenga was a Senior Managing Director with the Corporate Finance & Restructuring practice of FTI Consulting. Previously, he was a Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ restructuring practice in both Denver and Dallas.
Mr. Stegenga earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Arizona State University. He is a Certified Insolvency and Reorganization Advisor (CIRA), a member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) and a fellow in the American College of Bankruptcy. Mr. Stegenga helped edit two widely used restructuring industry textbooks and participated on a committee that proposed changes to the AICPA regarding accounting guidelines for companies operating under Chapter 11 protection.
