Christopher Duggan
Mr. Duggan brings expertise in operational improvements and finance management. His primary areas of concentration include assessing, improving, and building finance organizations; leading cross-functional teams to support business transformations, cash management and working capital improvement; creating reporting packages that highlight key business drivers and improve transparency; budget and financial forecasting, operational analysis and cost cutting. Mr. Duggan also works with private equity teams to evaluate both investor and management forecast models, perform synergy/cost savings determination analyses and complete carve-out and stand-alone assessments.
Mr. Duggan’s recent engagements include serving as interim VP of Global Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) at ~$1.5 billion big data technology provider. He designed and implemented a global cash flow model to improve forecast accuracy, implemented +$100 million working capital improvement initiatives and instilled a cash culture that improved credibility across key stakeholders. As Interim VP of FP&A during the restructuring of a $500 million global consumer products portfolio company of a middle-market private equity fund, Mr. Duggan analyzed and improved working capital and cash flow, evaluated strategic business decisions and identified performance improvement opportunities. He developed a three-year plan that incorporated strategic initiatives and EBITDA improvements as part of a $300 million debt restructuring that reset covenants.
Previously, he served as Interim VP of Finance of a $300 million business-to-business services company, where he focused on improving the finance function, enhancing periodic reporting, developing and implementing an annual budget process and 13WCF model, and driving operational improvements. He provided analytical support on key decisions, hired finance personnel and improved departmental functionality and cash management.
Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Duggan was an Associate with the audit and financial services practice of KPMG LLP in New York.
Mr. Duggan earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Miami University in Ohio. He is a Certified Public Accountant in New York (inactive).
